Project description

The property company Gavlefastigheter owns and manages properties for municipal operations. The company is owned by Gävle Municipality and is part of the Gävle Stadshus AB group. Gavlefastigheter wanted to furnish its sports hall and ice skating rink with a new lighting solution to increase light levels and reduce energy and maintenance costs.

Gävle Eldesign AB, which was tasked with documentation, preferred sturdy luminaires with a protective ball grate and good illumination properties to enable the halls to host high-level tournaments and athletics meets.

Lighting solution

The contractor DALAB chose Arena Sport, an SG Armaturen solution that met the project’s high demands for sturdiness and technological lighting performance. The solution also enabled the property owners to achieve energy savings of roughly 50% compared to the previous lighting solution. The technicians also appreciated the fact that the luminaire is so easy to install.
