Nord Universitet, Levanger
Project description
Nord University’s second-largest campus is located in Røstad, near Levanger, and is one of the most beautiful campuses in Norway. The lighting has been renovated and the existing luminaires replaced with LED luminaires in common areas, classrooms and outdoor areas.
Lighting solution
SG provided the lighting solution in collaboration with Statsbygg, the Norwegian government’s property advisor. Circular, surface-mounted Circulus luminaires with their minimalist design are installed in the cafeteria, common room and library. In the canteen, Circulus can be dimmed using DALI, and the luminaire has a natural light and motion sensor. Sense Opal/Sense Prism is installed in lecture theatres and open spaces. Sense is an energy-efficient LED luminaire with a narrow frame that can be mounted in ceilings with concealed T rails.
Outdoors – on Elskovsstien (‘lovers’ lane’) – Place mast luminaire is installed, combining a pleasant visual effect with energy efficiency. The luminaire gives consistent light distribution and no light pollution.
In addition, there are 3-Phase LED spotlights with a ShopLine rail system in lecture theatres. Tube and Ceres are installed in classrooms.
