Middelfart Town Hall has been designated as one of the most sustainable public buildings in Denmark, having been awarded the DGNB Platinum and Diamond certificates.

While DGNB Diamond is specifically about the architecture, DGNB Platinum is awarded for the holistic sustainability of the building. It covers climate-friendly sustainability, plus the fact that the building is disabled-friendly and future-proofed to last the next 150 years.  Read more here...

Lighting solution

SG supplied the lighting in the form of more than 1,000 specially designed recessed luminaires, which are LED 20W and 4000K with DALI.  They are round (Ø380) with an opal diffuser and a 20-mm aluminium ring. The luminaire itself is recessed 20 mm into the ceiling
